LSP.expert

Alongside my translation business, I’ve developed a project management tool called LSP.expert.

I undertook this project with my developer husband, Cédric Degallaix when we realised the tools available for freelance translators and translation agencies were too expensive and too complicated to use.

LSP.expert means you can create tasks and projects in a flash and generate invoices and quotes in just a few clicks. For translators and agencies who outsource work, this tool makes it easier to manage their suppliers, track outsourcing and create purchase orders. You can also log your expenses, customise multiple elements for 100% personalised administration management and consult several automatically generated reports so you always know where you stand.

LSP.expert has been around for about 8 years and continues to gain new users every year thanks to the fact it’s easy to use and is intuitively designed. Our team has also continued to grow.

I also use this tool to manage my daily workload. I no longer lose time on administrative tasks and can focus on what I really love : translating, proofreading and copywriting.

Day to day, I’m responsible for responding to users who send us questions about LSP.expert by email or using our website chat tool. I also help develop new features by giving my opinion as a user, define long term strategy with the team, write articles for our Help Centre and proofread content written in English which will be published on our blog and socials.

LSP.expert is a project I’m proud of and which is close to my heart.

As well as helping me in my day job, this tool has shown me the reality of running a business (the ups and downs), an experience which has pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me serve my translation, proofreading and copywriting clients even better.
